Well today was the first day of Kindergarten! I can't believe how fast time has gone! It seems so crazy that my little girl is going to school. I always remember saying well when Carina is 5 or when she starts Kindergarten but that seemed like such a long ways away!

Here she is with her teacher Mrs. Crain. Mrs. Crain must have seen my anxiety because she said, "you can stay for awhile if you want", meanwhile Carina is doing great! Carina was so excited to start school! I on the other hand tried to hold it together but had tears streaming down my face as I left the building. I got to the car and lost it!! Good thing Jeff was waiting for me. He basically had to tell me it is going to be alright. He then proceeded to go back into the school to "peek" at her. He said he blew her a kiss.

It is very weird coming back to our house without her here, I'm sure this is going to take some time to get used to. I can't even begin to imagine what it will be like when she goes to college!! I may need to take a vacation! Sammy and Audrey have spent the whole morning playing and I am counting down the hours to go and pick her up!!

Sam LOVES ReRe - during mass he kept asking to sit with her and he was glued to her side majority of time! Hopefully he didn't wear ReRe out - he can be a handful!!

This past weekend we went to Wisconsin to meet Giuliana. We had a good time hanging out with family and playing with the new baby!

Before Carina went back to school I decided to take a trip to see the Mundos. We stayed for three days and let the kids hang out and play. There was a lot of playing going on!! We swam, played dress up and Nathan won us a dinner to Chipotle which was really awesome for him to share with us!

On August 6th we took a trip to Cinci to visit Aunt Ana and Maddie. We went to a really cool water park at Winton Woods and then back to Aunt Ana's for more fun in the slip and slide. I think my camera has a water smudge on front - this is why picture looks this way.

Sometimes Carina will get an idea and say take a picture of me! Here is one of those times she wanted to see what she looked like in sunglasses - so funny!
I think this was really funny - Carina and Sam playing doctor - I think she is giving him a shot in the butt - she has his leg covered up. Very cute.

We had some pictures taken of the kids in August for Audrey's 18 month pictures. I am trying to get a good picture of all three kids for the house. Emily's sister Jessica came and took the pictures and they turned out really good - I found quite a few for the house! I'm super excited - here are just a few we took - this one is my favorite because it has all the personalities in it!

Uncle will turned 28 on August 7th - we celebrated the weekend before with family.

At the end of July I had my grad school friends over with their kids. We swam and had a cook out - the kids loved playing together and we got a chance to catch up. Here is Audrey sitting outside and having lunch.

At the beginning of August we went to carnival at Emily and Uncle Will's church. Here is Carina and Aunt Emily riding a ride.
Sam and Carina on the roller coaster - this was Sam's first roller coaster ride - which he loved. He wanted to ride many of the same rides Carina did however, he wasn't tall enough or old enough!

I watched my friends little boy Lucas and when he showed up he had on a big cowboy hat. He wanted to bring his big gun because as he told his mom he is the dad and he has to have a job when he comes over. Carina thought she should also dress up. Here is Carina, Lucas, Sam and Audrey.
