There it is - our Christmas tree
Sam and Jeff keeping warm... - it actually was a really good day to get the tree - the weather was not too cold (as far as Minnesota goes)!
Jeff and Carina on the wagon ride
We ended up in Somerset Wisconsin. This tree farm was really cool - they had a little play ground area for kids and some sweet treats and a wagon ride to find your perfect tree!

On Saturday we decided to do a Clark Griswold Christmas - so we loaded up the car and went to find our perfect Christmas tree! Here is Carina giving the thumbs up!
For Thanksgiving we went out to eat and then I made a meal on Saturday. Carina and Sam had a good time as did Jeff and I. It was nice to have some time out of the house with good food!

Jeff and I were getting sentimental one night and started looking back at Carina and her Christmas pictures. I thought it might be fun to share Carina's Christmases over the past 3 years.

We started out trick or treating with Anglea, Stodden, Soren and Anders in their neighborhood. They live on the out skirts of a small town called Bayport.

We then went into the downtown of Bayport and went trick or treating. The town was really cute! Many of the houses were decorated and there were a ton of kids trick or treating. Carina liked to look at many of the girls in their costumes (angels, princesses...).

The police were passing out glow necklaces and the fire station in town hands out candy and hot chocolate and apple cider. The kids had fun looking at all of the trucks and ambulances.

As you can see everyone is a little exhausted! Good thing we were finished! Mom and dad were tired too! Some of the houses had some scary costumes - Jeff decided to tell Carina that her ruby slippers were her super power and would protect her, Carina thought this was pretty cool! My favorite moment of the night - Carina said "My slippers are losing their power"... she didn't think she could go any more! So funny!

After several houses Sam decided to rest his eyes!

This is my friend Andgela and her very cute dog Grover!
Sam along for the ride!

We spent Halloween with our friends the Daneliuses - this is the beginning Carina, Soren, Anders and Sam. Carina is very excited! This was our first year getting to trick or treat. Last year Carina was sick :(

Finished product!! Happy Halloween...

Scooping out the guts
Not so sure about this?

It is real work taking the lid off the pumpkin - notice the effort in the face!
Maybe we should give the pumpkin a kiss or a bite?
First draw a picture on the face of the pumpkin...

Getting ready to carve pumpkins - Sam thinks he is big stuff sitting at the table!

Can you see my jack-o-latern teeth! Sam has had two bottom teeth since 6 months and recently about 9 months he started to get a tooth next to his front tooth! It is so cute - I did notice that the front tooth next to it is starting to come in...
