What a fun day! This is how it ended...

We watched a cannon go off - I guess this only happens two times a year and today is one of them! It was really cool - a cannon ball can go for a mile...

this is Colonel Snelling the actor - Jeff called him Captain Snelling and Carina called him Snowing! Do you see what I am dealing with!

Today we decided to go to the state park - Fort Snelling which is actually in St. Paul.

On Sunday Allie, Caroline and Garrett came over. Carina and Caroline had a good time playing - I'm not sure why I didn't get any pictures of the boys?

On Saturday we did some rearranging and getting some baby stuff out that had been put away. One of the things we got out was this doll house my Grandpa and Grandma made for me. Carina loved it! I think she spent an hour playing house - the mom and dad were going to work and instructing the children to sit down....interesting!

Well Sam is 4 months old and since he always is watching us when we are eating we figured we would give him a chance with some rice cereal. He was not too fond of the cereal at first but by the end of the meal we was doing okay.




Don't mind the giant ikea spoon! I'm not sure where all my baby spoons are... I'll get better :)

Carina and Gannon did lots of running!

On Friday we went to the park with Gannon, Paige and Michele. Carina and Gannon had a good time and Sam enjoyed riding like a big boy in the stroller!

I can't believe how big my little girl is! Today was her first dance recital at school! It was so cute and needless to say she was not shy :) Michele, Gannon and Paige came to watch and Gannon brought Carina flowers - they had a good time. At one point Carina gave Gannon a wave and said "Hi Gannon" while dancing.

On Friday Jeff's old roommate John came to visit. He just finished MBA school from the University of Michigan and is driving cross country. It was really great to see him. Carina had a new best friend and also decided she likes convertibles (don't worry we just let her sit in the car - not ride in).

Sam is getting so big - we go for the four month check up in one more week.

On Thursday (last week, sorry I'm a little behind - Don't worry Jack, I will only be working two days from now on so I will continue on my blog uploading:)) we had a visitor "Paige" stay with us for the day.
