Two Months Old! Where has the time gone?

Audrey went for her two month checkup today. The doctor said she is "perfect!", that we already knew :) She weighed 10 lbs. and was 21 inches long. She is a peanut. She is in the 19th percentile for weight and 10th percentile for height. This is a very big difference from big sister and big brother; however being a preemie makes the difference.

What I can tell you about our little Audrey is that she is truly very sweet. There is something about her personality that lets you see how sweet she is. She has just started to smile at people and I have seen her laughing (which is so cute). She has been smiling in her sleep since she was born ( I would love to know what she is dreaming about)! She rarely gets upset and when she does she will quite down with you telling her "it's okay" (this pulls at the strings of my heart)! She loves for her beautiful hair to be stroked and is dealing with all of the craziness of our house (yelling kids, kids in her face, and sometimes forceful rocking of the car seat by Sam) very well. She sleeps really well usually about 4 hours at night but there are times she will go for 6 hours. We love our baby Audrey and could not see our house without her! We look forward to watching her grow.

On Easter Sunday, we went to the McGuire's for an Easter Egg hunt in the morning. Sam looked spiffy in his little button-down shirt. Carina and Audrey both looked very pretty in their spring dresses. Audrey slept through all of church and brunch - Sam was a bit more... active :)

Easter Weekend Festivities: On Saturday we went with the McGuire's to see the Easter Bunny and then we planned to head down to see the baby animals at the zoo.

All went well with the Easter Bunny and then the kids played at an indoor play area for a little while before we headed down to the zoo. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the zoo - who would have known EVERYONE would be there to see the animals as well. It must have been at least an hour wait to get into the zoo - the line was backed up to the parking lot (it was only 11:30)...

So we decided that wouldn't work. Thank God we live by the Mall of America where there is an indoor amusement park! So instead we went to the mall and rode rides! Next best thing to baby animals right?
Carina and Gannon getting a hug from Diego!

Carina loves riding the rides! Not like her mom - she definitely takes after Daddy! Good thing Dad is a big kid and loves to ride rides as well.
Gannon are you ready?
Sam loved the little red sports car!

Sam wants to know why he has to have his picture taken with the rabbit ears on? You're only little once Sammy!
