Wednesday was the kids last day at New Horizon. Carina has been there since she was a baby 4 months old when she started. This is located at Jeff's work which made the kids going to daycare very nice and easy for us. Jeff and I were both able to be there if something happened (Jeff more so because it was downstairs from him). Here are the kids with their teachers on the last day of school.

On Wednesday September 16th - was my last day of work! I have worked at Kids Abilities for the past 3 years. They have been really flexible with me and have let me vary my work days over the years depending upon my family life (number of children etc.). I work with a great group of women who love their jobs and are dedicated to the children and families we see. On Thursday night we all went to Karaoke for a "final" get together - I will really miss these girls and all of the kids I have seen over the past 7 years living in Minnesota (a couple of the kids I have seen the whole time I have lived here). It will be a new experience for me to have some time where I am not working (I'm not sure how long this will last...) but I am open to the new adventures that are to come!

On this past Thursday we were stuck in the downstairs all day while we had new carpet put in - here are my three children relaxing on our blow up mattress we inflated for nap time! Carina thought this was pretty cool - like a slumber party during the day!

Maybe they are sharing secrets or just getting to know each other - can't quite tell - Oh the fun that is to come!!

7 MONTHS OLD!!

I can't believe that my little "Punkie" is 7 months old! She is still cute, she still is very petite and still has the best crazy hair! This picture says it all to me - is is so sweet and has such a great disposition. Probably the best baby EVER!! (of course I think this, I am her mom...) She loves to watch Carina and Sam and laughs at my singing (which I think doesn't sound too bad). She is very happy and is a bit of a piggy (only said in a loving way)! She loves food, she is eating a number 2 jar of food (any kind) and cereal at least two times a day! When you see her you would never guess that she could eat this much - I wonder where it goes! And yes she is a talker!!! I guess she takes after Carina, Carina talked a lot when she was little but Punkie may talk a little more!!! yikes!!!

Last Monday Michele and I took the kids to Teddy Bear park in Stillwater, MN. Here you can see that we are trying to get a group photo - Audrey not pictured she was there but I couldn't think of a way for her to be held without being dropped - too much concert around :)

Does his face say TROUBLE or what! Sam will do the slide over and over and over again; however this particular day we was tired by the end Michele asked him if he wanted to go down the slide and he refused! What!!!

Last Saturday we celebrated Gannon's birthday at Little Gym! It was a lot of fun the kids were able to play in the gym, they played games, ate cake and opened presents. Happy Birthday Gannon!

Here is Sammy on his new motorcycle! Sam loves motorcycles - when he sees them he makes the noise and then points to his head because as we tell him "yes they wear a helmet!"

This is Carina by her tree. We planted this tree when she was born, it is funny now it is as big as she is! We will have to find one for the new house - and for those of you that are think this - no the other kids do not have a tree - they will also get one at our new house. We have decided that we are going to plant 6 trees (One for Carina, Sam, Audrey, Leia, Biggs and Radar). I guess we are going to need a big backyard!

The first trip to Indy to move our stuff (if you can call it that sometimes other words come to me instead!) Jeff's Dad drove down from Michigan with the Aztec empty ready for us to fill to the max! He brought walkie talkies and off we went three cars (Honda Odyssey, Jeep, and an Aztec filled with three kids, one dog and a lot of stuff)! The movers will take the majority of things but until we find a house/neighborhood that we want to live in we will be bunking with my mom.

GOOD BYE OLD BATHROOM!

Many of you may know our news.... No we are not having another baby :) We are moving to Indianapolis. Jeff got a job offer within Boston Scientific and it was too good to pass up! So with that said we are getting our house ready for the market!! The bathroom was the first project, which now that it is complete - we both wish we would have done this...oh about 2 years ago! Oh well, next is the carpet, which was just installed this past Thursday. Stay tuned for more adventures...
