I always say that I feel very lucky for my kids to have Jeff as their dad! I always knew that I wanted to marry someone who would be caring and fun and a good dad but I can not even put into words how much Jeff has met any expectations that I had. He goes above and beyond and is involved in everything the kids do. You will often see him wearing a crown or drinking from a tea cup, dancing with princess Carina and teaching Sam to throw a ball. He likes to be silly and loves to take the kids to see new places and teach them about new things! I love watching him teach the kids! He is probably the best dad a kid could have and in turn I feel very lucky everyday! Today we decided to take the kids to Como zoo for fathers day. The kids were able to ride rides with Jeff and see the animals. Happy Father's Day! We love you!!
The last weekend in Indy we had Audrey baptised. We feel really lucky that we were able to have our family there with us for this special day. We have been able to have all of our kids baptised in the same church Jeff and I were married in and by the same priest Father O'Mara who married us! As Father O'Mara stated we are "starting to form a history together"! Thank you so much to Emily and Clint for standing up for Audrey as her Godparents, it really means a lot to us! Thank you to Hoosh and Jack for coming to Indy to share this special day with us. And thank you to Grandma Connie for letting us once again use your house to host a party!
Carina and Sam at the park. Sam loved this park because he could do the slide by himself. He must have gone down the slide at least 10 times.

This is what I call a "Sam sandwich". This is my uncle Sam, my Grandma Giesige and my Sam.
Two cousins relaxing! Life is hard when you are almost 4 months!

On May 30th my cousin Emily got married to her high school sweet heart John. She asked Carina to be one of the flower girls in her wedding. We had such a good time and Emily was a beautiful bride! Carina really enjoyed being able to be in the wedding. Aunt Ginny and Emily made sure that the girls (Carina and Natalie) had special treats (princess goodie bag filled with princess things)!!
Maddie, Carina and Sam dancing the night away! They were all big dancers! Sam has a classic move which he calls the chicken arm. He tilts his body to the side and puts his one arm behind his back when dancing (so cute), maybe I can get some video up on the blog to show everyone!

I just has to put this picture in with the events. Some of you may not know but this is our 3rd dog his name is Alex but we call him Mr. Biggs (because he is the biggest of all the dogs)! We adopted Biggie in June of 2004 from Iowa. We got him the same weekend I found out that we were expecting Carina. We found out at the beginning of May he had to have his spleen removed and we found out that he has a terminal cancer and we are not sure how much time that we will have with him. As you can see he is a big lover and if you didn't know he had cancer you would not know from being around him that he was sick. As you can see he is getting a lot of extra love and is enjoying every minute of it!! We love him so much!
