15 months old....
Sam is 15 months old and went for his check up (I think last week, maybe the week before? yikes the days are coming together!) Any way we weighed 25 lbs. 6.4 oz (he was in the 62 percentile for weight) and was 2' 6.25'' (23rd percentile for height). Sam is doing very well, we just went for an ENT appointment today and he will be getting tubes next Wednesday. Jeff and I are hopeful that the continual ear infections will become a thing of the past... we'll see!
Sam is very sweet and is definitely head strong, opinionated and has a funny personality. When he is trying to "be cute" he will give you "the shoulder" which is what Jeff and I like to call it, which always makes us laugh! Sammy does a lot of babbling I wish I could understand. He is starting to say "ou" for "out" and he does many signs. He does a lot of gesturing to tell us what he wants or to discuss things happening around him. He knows his head, eyes, nose, mouth, tummy, toes, and ears. He continues to work on eating from a spoon which I think is really funny (he will often get the food on the spoon and then use his hands to put it in his mouth). He has just started to point to Audrey in a "loving" way! He continues to want to do EVERYTHING Carina does which sometimes is a problem (i.e. standing in the bathtub, trying to jump and wanting to write with pens!) We look forward to all the adventures that Sam has in store for us!
