Sam is 6 months!

Sam had his sixth month check up today, he is 19 lbs 9 oz. and 27 inches long! He is growing and doing well! I can't say enough about Sam and his great attitude and disposition. He is a really happy baby (except when he is hungry). He does like to eat (a lot) at times and has two bottom teeth coming in (very cute). The doctor said he was very pleased with Sam's development and since there are no shots at 9 months we can wait and come in at 12 months - My friend Michele and I think this would mess up the baby book recording and we will probably go in at 9 months...we'll see!

This past weekend we went to Brookfield, WI to visit Jeff's Aunt Karen, Uncle Bob, cousin Karaline and his grandma ReRe and our friend of the family Peggy. We had a really good time and when we left Carina said "That was fun"..."we had Popsicle parties, ice cream parties..."(of course the important things!) Carina had a good time with Karaline and Karen and Bob playing hide-and-seek and of course putting on a tap show!

Carina started Swim lessons at the Y about 2 weeks ago. She goes "by herself" and is having a really good time. I usually sit and watch I wasn't sure how she was going to do without one of us in the water with her but it has been fine!

For those of you who know Carina you know that she loves her "soft blankie" - the "soft blankie" is actually a queen size velour blanket - we have many of them (one in the car, one down stairs and one in her room)... well as you will see from the pictures we think Sam may like "soft blankies" too! Maybe we can get his down to a twin!

This is where the water came in - I think they all decided to get out the hose to wash away the chalk drawings on the patio and then off of Carina's dress - don't worry she loved it!

Last Sunday we went over to my friend Angela's house for dinner with her husband Stodden, and her sons Anders and Soren. Carina had a good time playing with the boys and eating ice cream!

Last Friday we over to Michele and Brian's house so that Carina and Gannon could go on the slip and slide! Carina was very excited about the slip and slide concept as you will see from some of these pictures they didn't really run and slide - maybe that was smart!
