FUN FESTIVAL WEEKEND
This weekend we went to the state fair and to Woodbury Days. We met Brian, Michele, Gannon and Paige for all the fun! The kids had lots of junk food and were able to ride a ton of rides. Gannon and Carina got wrist bands to ride as many rides as possible at Woodbury Days. The selection wasn't too great but the kids had a great time! The biggest memory for me this weekend was all the crap Sam put in his mouth off the ground here is a list of just of a few of the things... some dirty used rag off of the state fair floor, he picked up many things in the animal barn (God only knows what was on those things), a pony tail holder (maybe a carnival workers - this was all wet and soggy by the time I saw him chewing on it), a balloon (this was one the carnival worker gave this kids from her station) I look over and Sam has popped it and was sucking the air out, ugh makes we want to puke!

Checking out the baby ducks (Gannon, Carina, Paige and Sam) - I know you may be thinking yuck Sam has his mouth on the dirty, fence.... I know, I know, I know!
Jeff, Carina and Brian and Gannon enjoying the big slide - this was a tradition started a couple of years ago when the kids were little - "The big slide race"! Gannon won this one he is at the bottom already. Carina was scared so she went with Jeff. The first round Sam and Paige went with Jeff and Brian.
Enjoying a pronto pup!

Baby Girl is 6 months Old!
Wow how time is flying - I figured I better get this up on the blog before she is 9 months!! On Monday we went for the 6 month checkup. My peanut is 13 lbs 14 oz (which places her in the 8.59% for weight) and she is 2' .34 " (which places her in the 5.95% for height). Her head circumference is 28.06%. She is growing and is happy happy happy!! She started rice cereal not too long ago and LOVES IT! She also has had squash and peas which she seems to love. I asked the doctor if maybe she will put on some more weight because she is eating food and he said probably not because she will become more mobile and food is less calories... well we can try. She is close to sitting on her own but hates tummy time. One of my bosses at work has been seeing Audrey on and off for torticollis which has gotten a ton better! She still has a lot of hair which is crazy most of the time and she will occasionally come home with an "up do" from school. Audrey is a very happy baby and loves to watch and laugh at Carina and Sam. Sam has really started to take a liking to her, which will be fun to watch the two of them over the next year! She is very very ticklish and will laugh and laugh which I Love (it is soooo cute)! She is our little pumpkin which is why we call her punkie (also because of her hair).
18 months old! (really 19 months now but I'm a little late getting this posted).
Sammy had his 18 month check up this past Monday. He weighs 27 pounds 6 oz (65%) and is 2' 7'' (15%) for length. His head is in the 80 th percentile. Sam is running, climbing and getting into everything. He is very safety conscious and always will sign helmet when seeing a motorcycle or wanting to ride a bike. He likes to do everything Carina does even if that means feeding a baby or carrying a purse. He is putting many two words together often that begin with "my" ("my bite", "my shoes" (which he request to put on as soon as he gets up in the morning) "my dad"). He continues to sound like the Swedish chef for the majority of his talking! He is quite the character and has been so fun to watch learn new things! The best thing to watch is his dancing and his stomping around. He is very strong willed which has brought us recently to witness his "tantrums" and "throwing of objects".

So we have had some upgrades around our house. Sam decided he no longer can sit in the high chair - I guess he is "too big" for that. He goes over to what use to be Carina's seat and declares that he wants to sit in the light brown chair. So trying to be good parents Jeff and I asked Carina do you want to sit in the big chair like mom and dad or do you want to keep your chair. She decided she wasn't ready to give up her chair - she on Saturday we went to get her a new chair to sit in... As you can see everyone is pretty happy about the sitting arrangement.
Audrey's first time in the high chair.
This is Carina with her new scooter. We need some practice but I think she is going to do really well.
Sam with his new bubble mower - and of course wearing our helmet for safety. Actually the helmet came in handy when he tried to ride the scooter. You can imagine....
posing for a picture - Sam saw Carina leaning in for the picture so he decided to lean - very funny to me!!
