Sammy Loves Hats!

Such a big boy - cruising every where - On January 22nd he took his first steps! So close school says that he has been taking at least 4 steps everyday... Oh boy - we already have so many gates around our house I feel like I'm in prison at times :)

Last Friday Carina had a Dance recital at Little Gym. She has been taking a combo class of dance and gymnastics. It was very cute and the girls did a good job! Here are just a few of the pictures. I will have to see if I got any of the ballet ones...

Well it was the coldest day today - negative 17, twenty who knows when it gets below zero it is really cold! Needless to say we stayed in and got the play house out! Oh what fun - Sam and Carina thought this was the best thing ever! Now how long will we have it up (it takes up a lot of room)!

On Sunday we went to see my mom's family for the Giesige family Christmas party. It was really good to see my Grandma Giesige. Jeff and I have not been to the Giesige Christmas party for at least 5 years. It was good to see all (well some of my first cousins, I have 30 some).

On Saturday we were able to celebrate Maddie's birthday - she turned one on January 3rd but we were lucky to get to be one of the first to celebrate with her! She was the best birthday cake eater I have ever seen! Happy 1st Birthday Maddie!

Friday we over to my Aunt Ginny's house for Christmas to visit with my cousins - Andy, Julie, their little girl Natalie and son Eric, also my cousin Emily and her fiance John and my cousin Rachel and her husband Nick. It was really good to see everyone!

Sam loves Uncle Clint, now Clint would tell you it's because of the colors he wears (brown and orange) unfortunately Jeff would disagree!

This year at school Carina brought home Reindeer food that needed to be sprinkled in the yard Christmas Eve for the Reindeer to eat - here is Jeff and Carina and Aunt Ana and Carina making sure the job is finished!
